Born in Slovakia and based in New York City,
Daniel Hamaj is a photographer, director, and producer.
He has lived across Europe including Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Croatia, and Italy having experiences that continue to shape his work today.
Working seamlessly across both digital and analog formats,
he uses each where it best serves the mood and message of the project.
Whether shooting an ad campaign, a personal portrait series, or a film, his focus remains on clear visual storytelling, built through careful planning and strong creative intent.
Influenced by various documentary photographers and the ’90s indie explosion of cinema, his style leans toward the cinematic and intentional. He approaches each project with a deep commitment to visual storytelling and artistic integrity,
and his goal is to create work that has lasting meaning for both artist and viewer.
